Look above and you'll find, from left to right, Venus, my daughter Carol's standard poodle; Gromit, our rescue league Wheaten terrier; Do-Mi Doe, my son Matt's cross breed; Daisy, bull terrier who owns Cindy, a friend; and Machito, my daughter Michelle's perpetual pup.
